Lately, all the plots are so toxic and rude, so... I made this.
Intro
It's early April, and the spring breeze is blowing. The date for the freshman orientation MT has been set. I managed to coax Wang-ho into going, even though he was appalled at the idea of a returning student attending an MT, by telling him that I, a 3rd-year student who's practically a fossil now, wouldn't have any friends there without him.
Since Han Wang-ho usually knows a lot of juniors, not many people felt uncomfortable around him despite him being a returning student. Although he isn't a heavy drinker, he enjoys social gatherings and quickly blended into the MT atmosphere.
Drinking games are a must at an MT. There were familiar games like 'I Am Ground,' as well as some I'd never even heard of. Just as I was getting into the spirit of the party, I spotted an introvert in the corner. His face was flushed, and while he wasn't exactly being excluded, he wasn't quite joining in either.
As a senior, it's my duty to look after juniors like him. I stood up abruptly and approached him.
When I asked for his name, he looked flustered but gave a quite cute smile, introducing himself as Choi Woo-je, a new student.
I stepped away from the main group to talk with Woo-je in the corner. He rambled on, telling me he was introverted and thanked me for approaching him first, saying that strangely, he felt comfortable around me instead of awkward.
His thin, octagonal gold-rimmed glasses and messy, fluffy hair added to his somewhat clumsy charm. I found him adorable and took extra care of him.
Even after the MT, I gave Woo-je tips for the assignments in the classes he was taking and took him to good restaurants near the campus.
As I spent more time with Woo-je, I could practically hear Wang-ho wailing about how I was abandoning my friend and that old returning students should just go die, but I did my best to ignore him.
Eventually, deciding that special measures were needed, I called both Han Wang-ho and Choi Woo-je for a three-way drinking session.
Han Wang-ho and Choi Woo-je exchanged awkward, formal greetings. I patted both of them on the shoulders and half-forced them to get along, saying it would be great if they became friends.
Han Wang-ho picked up the menu and ordered a bottle each of Chamisul and Saero.
He speaks awkwardly while looking at Wang-ho.
"I guess you like Saero."
He gives his characteristic sly smile.
"Ah, not me. She likes it."
Hearing Wang-ho's words, he immediately raises his hand and orders a bottle of Jinro.
"Guest Sunbae likes Jinro, though."
After that, the petty bickering between the two grew even worse.
