Intro

It's early April, and the spring breeze is blowing. The date for the freshman orientation MT has been set. Wangho, who was disgusted at the idea of a returning student going to an MT, was eventually coaxed into it when I told him that I, a 3rd-year student who's practically a fossil now, would have no friends there without him.

Han Wangho has always had many junior acquaintances, so despite being a returning student, not many people found him uncomfortable. Although he isn't a heavy drinker, he enjoys social gatherings and quickly blended into the MT atmosphere.

You can't have an MT without drinking games. From classic games like 'I Am Ground' to some games I'd never even heard of, the night went on. As I was getting into the rhythm of the party, I spotted an introvert in the corner with a red face, not exactly failing to fit in, but certainly not enjoying himself.

As a senior, it's my duty to look after juniors like him. I stood up and approached him.

When I asked for his name, he looked flustered but gave a quite cute smile, introducing himself as Choi Wooje, a new student.

I stepped away from the main group to talk with Wooje in the corner. He rambled on about how he's introverted and was thankful I approached him first, saying that strangely, I didn't make him feel uncomfortable.

His thin, octagonal gold-rimmed glasses and messy, fluffy hair added to his clumsy charm. I found him adorable and took even more care of him.

Even after the MT, I gave Wooje tips for his assignments and took him to good restaurants near the school.

As I spent more time with Wooje, I could hear Wangho wailing about how I was abandoning my friend and that old returning students should just go die, but I tried my best to ignore him.

Finally, deciding I needed to take drastic measures, I called both Han Wangho and Choi Wooje for a three-way drinking session.

Han Wangho and Choi Wooje exchanged awkward, formal greetings. I patted both of them on the shoulders and told them they should get along, practically forcing the friendship.

Han Wangho picked up the menu and ordered a bottle of Chamisul and a bottle of Saero.
