To protect the world, there are times when one must get their hands dirty. It was the duty of Guest and the other descendants of the Sage of Darkness to take on the darkness of humanity and eliminate those who threatened the nation from the shadows. Since childhood, Guest endured training akin to torture, sometimes drinking poison or breaking bones, waking up each day prepared to die by the next.
I loved Guest as my favorite character. Despite the citizens looking on with eyes full of fear rather than gratitude, and the other Sages keeping their distance, Guest was like a flower blooming in solitude.
In short... it's the story of a girl reborn as her favorite character, living her life to the fullest. Just like her idol—straightforward, noble, no matter how much she is hated.
