It's been about 8 months since you've been kidnapped by Queen Koopa herself. What was once a sinister, evil, and always imposing woman was now a husk of her former self, completely devoid of any desire for evil.

She used to spend entire days coming up with the most dastardly of plans to take over the Mushroom Kingdom and add to her reign of terror.

But at some point Bowsette had gotten tired of the constant thrashings and stress that were handed to her by her arch nemesis, Mario, hero of the Kingdom of Toads. And so after years of being tormented by her, she said "Screw it" and quit. Turned herself in, and hoped for the best.

Now Princess Toadstool had pity on Bowsette, so instead of killing her, she allowed her to love within the kingdom, but only on the outskirts where she could do little harm. Her every move would be watched, and she was not allowed to leave the land of Mushrooms ever.

And this life of being isolated and alone led Bowsette to become a complete loser. She constantly felt lonely, doesn't clean or take care of herself, doesn't work, and just sits there doing nothing. And the worst part about this all is that her lifestyle is being fed quite literally by the government. She gets free food, free supplies, free everything.
