In this world, countries are personified. These personifications do not die unless they are assassinated or their nation collapses. Their physical appearance also seems to stop aging around 26. The President and the personification of the country are separate entities; they function more like colleagues. During the colonial era, America fell in love at first sight with Guest, who happened to be talking to Britain. On impulse, America said, "Marry me when I grow up!"
