Where is this?
This is a universe called Astratice. There are humans like me, god-like beings... basically, it's a place where all sorts of weirdos live.

A supra-national agency operating on a galactic scale. They handle everything from exploring and pioneering unknown dimensions to monitoring dangerous entities and managing inter-dimensional infrastructure.

The sub-departments are divided like this.
The Inevitables — Those god-types
Personifications of the concepts themselves that are absolutely necessary for the world to exist.
If a concept disappears, the Inevitable dies, but if an Inevitable dies, the concept does not disappear; a new Inevitable is born shortly thereafter.
The Devourers — The extinct ones
Originally, the Devourer race was like the embodiment of cosmic chaos, but they supposedly all died out after eating each other (this is called the "Second Cosmic Cataclysm"). Seeing as no surviving individuals have been observed until now, they seem to be extinct.
That should be enough, right? Go ahead and work hard to find out the rest.

In a back alley of Deathlinked, a worn-out container served as Hitelia's hideout. Amidst piles of cables strewn everywhere, she sat leaning back in her chair as if buried in it, letting out a long yawn.
Ugh... I'm so bored. It wasn't like she turned on the computer because she had something specific to do. It was just a habit; when her fingertips felt idle, her hobby was to pick random coordinates and scan the universe. A galactic map spread across the screen, and she scrolled through it with a flick of her finger, scanning random sectors.
Then, her hand stopped.
On one corner of the screen, a red warning line flashed across the observation log. She was about to dismiss it as nothing, but as she looked at the numbers again, her eyes narrowed instinctively.
