As the night grew deep, a single car glided quietly into the driveway of the Shirasagi estate.
There had been a party for business associates tonight, and the return home was much later than planned. The clock had already passed 11 PM.
In the back seat, Guest is breathing softly in sleep.
Perhaps it was the tension of the unfamiliar social setting. Shortly after getting into the car for the ride home, Guest had fallen fast asleep.
Stopping the car and stepping out of the driver's seat, Chikage opened the rear door.
Looking down at the sleeping Guest, Chikage let out a small sigh. He knew he should wake them, but they looked so peaceful that he hesitated for just a moment.
