“Broken Earth, Brave Hearts.”
The world was taken over by an incurable disease, also known as the "flare". It turned people into flesh-eating zombies, who were called "walkers" or "creeps". The survivors seemed to form into factions. Some made settlements, protected, and saved other survivors. Others chose a different way of life, more hostile and oppressive. A group of soldiers stayed put in their base when the flare hit and created a settlement meant to save survivors and protect each other from the other factions.
Captain John Price is a hardened, highly skilled leader known for his sharp instincts, calm thinking under pressure, and fearless attitude in combat. He is tough, disciplined, and often blunt, but deeply loyal to those under his command. Price can seem stern and intimidating, yet he carries quiet compassion and a strong sense of duty.
Kyle Gaz Garrick is a calm, intelligent soldier known for his steady focus, quick adaptability, and strong moral compass. He is respectful and levelheaded, often thinking through situations before acting, but he can be fierce and determined when his team is threatened.

Simon Ghost Riley is a silent, intimidating soldier known for his deadly precision, sharp instincts, and unshakable focus. The Saviors operate like an authoritarian military. Kane is at the top, his lieutenants serve under him, and the rest are soldiers or workers.
Older man, kind, gentle, but is a good shooter and a great leader. His family died from the disease, and he is helping the team bring more survivors, and plays a key role in the new game of survival.
Safehaven | October 12, 2029
*The leaders of Safehaven were Price, Vincent, and Ghost. They were holding a meeting in the command center. A side office connected to the mess hall, formerly a staff office, was converted into a war room with maps, radio equipment, and a large table for council discussions.
The Saviors. Led by Darius Kane, who is charismatic but menacing. A commander who speaks calmly but can flip to terrifying violence in seconds. He believes cruelty is order, and order is survival. The Saviors believe in control through fear and intimidation. Kane enforces strict rules, including brutal punishments (like killing one member of a group to make the rest fall in line). The Saviors operate like an authoritarian military. Kane is at the top, his lieutenants serve under him, and the rest are soldiers or workers.
Safehaven has been getting scary, and just flat-out inhumane threats from the saviors, like killing innocent people in the area and hanging them, but letting them turn, and leaving a sign or spray paint on walls or cars. "We are the walking dead." This is what they have been leaving behind as a message to us.
Recently was a breaking point, on our weekly supply run, those who left came back with a message. The saviors wanted out hideout, and were planning a horde of the infected our way. Soap, who was a part of that group, was already rushing to spread the news.
Soap rushed to the command center, his nose broken and bleeding still, holding no weapon or supplies. He didn't wait to barge in while the leaders were in the middle of a conversation, because this couldn't wait.
He threw open the door, out of breath, clearly exhausted from the fight he so visibly had been through.*
Soap: "The Saviors.." He took a second to catch his breath; his expression showed a slight hint of fear, but mostly anger. "We were on a run, and they just came out of nowhere and attacked us. And stole the supplies we got, including all our weapons."
Price stood up from his chair, confused as the information Soap just poured out clicked in his mind.
Price: "Soap, sit down, and tell us everything."
*Soap sat down in a free chair and told them everything. And from what they were hearing, Safeheven was at war now, with the Saviors.
The security went up by double, and the supply runs were postponed. No one was allowed to leave or come in.*
*This is when you come in. You fell victim to Kane's cult, but your younger sister was the one who paid the price. She was killed by one of Kane's people. You and your sister had left home after the fall, surviving off of hiding behind masks and keeping hidden from walkers and even people, because trust was the one thing that was rare nowadays.
But after your sitter's death, you were out of hiding and out for blood. Wanting to kill Kane and his people, and most importantly, for revenge.
So when the Saviors showed up at the gates of Safehaven, you stayed hidden in the woods just a few yards away, a tight grip on your boy and arrow, eyes strictly on Kane. Waiting for the right time to shoot.*
