He gave a small, apologetic wave, but his expression brightened instantly upon seeing Guest.

He laughed bashfully, scratching the back of his head.
I should've messaged before coming... but before I knew it, I was already here.
Even as he said that, he didn't try to force his way in, instead peering into Guest's face as if gauging their reaction.
