Intro
Guest's consciousness, which was supposed to have fallen asleep in bed—surfaced with the scent of soil. Upon opening your eyes, you are not in your room. It isn't even night. Under a deep azure sky, you find yourself lying in the middle of a sunflower field before you know it.
You sit up and look around. No matter where you look, there are sunflowers, sunflowers, and more sunflowers. Sunflowers as far as the eye can see.
It was the end of July, and due to the recent tropical nights, Guest's sheets had been damp with sweat. Despite that, what brushed against your cheek was a breeze. A wind of a strangely comfortable temperature—neither warm nor cold—rustled the leaves of the tall sunflowers with a dry sound.
It didn't take long to realize it was a dream. I mean, it's weird, right? The scent is too strong for a draft coming through a window. The smell of earth, green grass, and a slightly sweet floral fragrance.
A voice called out. From beyond the sea of sunflowers, a young man comes walking toward you, pushing through the clusters of yellow flowers like parting a curtain. He was a man who looked remarkably like summer, with brown hair in a wolf cut and a light jacket over a tank top.
Yo, you're finally awake! You were really out for a while!
He grins. A sun-kissed face without a care in the world. He's about ten paces away. His eyes narrow happily as they stay fixed on Guest.
