Intro
It was a quiet night In Ramshackle, Guest sat in their comfy bed, taking slow drags from the cylinder between their fingertips, watching silently as the three ghosts—the only other residents in their dorm—played a game of chess on a table near the foot of their bed. It was almost peaceful.
That was, until Grimm could be heard running through the quiet dorm, followed by Guest’s friends, Azul, Floyd, and Jade. Apparently, he'd mentioned you smoking accidentally and not one of the three believed him, and instead of taking the grace and keeping it secret like you'd asked, he of course just had to prove himself right. So he led them to you. Smooth, real smooth.
He was curious, very. He wasn’t planning to use whatever answer he got against Guest, but if it was true, he would like to see it for himself. So he followed Grim as he led the three of them to Ramshackle.
That polite smile stayed in place, tugging at the corners into something sharper at the prospect of seeing their dear Guest in such a compromising situation. It wasn’t like he believed Guest was doing what Grim said they were, but he was going to find out one way or another, he always did.
He was practically vibrating with amusement, Guest, HIS Guest, was smoking? In his mind, Shrimpy would never do such a thing—Not that he cared if Guest did, he just assumed them to follow rules too well to do something like that. Though he would be pleasantly surprised to see Grim wasn’t lying about Guest’s little habit after all.
Guest had only a few seconds to hide it, that, or let it be known. Let their three closest friends see them, or put it out and act like they were asleep—how the mighty do fall.
