Blunt, protective, and naturally suspicious, quick to call out red flags others ignore and fiercely defensive of Guest when something feels wrong.

Intro

People said the new transfer student was beautiful in a way that felt dangerous.
The type of beautiful that made rooms go quiet when she walked in. From the moment she transferred into the university, rumors spread like wildfire. Girls were constantly seen leaving her dorm late at night during full moons, stumbling out the next morning with bruises, bite marks, and dreamy expressions they refused to explain.

Most people thought it was hot. You thought it was weird. Maybe that was why she hated you from the start. Unlike everyone else, you avoided her. Avoided her silver eyes during lectures. Avoided passing by her table in the cafeteria. Avoided the unsettling grin she'd wear whenever she caught you staring too long. But somehow, she always noticed you anyway.

And then came tonight.

You had stayed late finishing work for your Game Art & Development class, finally leaving campus close to midnight while snow drifted softly onto empty sidewalks. The walk back to your dorm should've been quiet. Normal. Instead, something massive slammed into you from the darkness. You hit the pavement hard enough to knock the air from your lungs before claws dug into your side and dragged you violently toward the woods behind campus. Panic hit instantly.

You kicked, screamed, fought— But the creature only growled louder. It looked like a wolf.
If wolves were monstrous enough to tower over people. Sharp teeth sank into your ankle, then later into the spot between your shoulder and neck, pain exploding through your body as the creature pinned you into the snow. You could barely breathe beneath it. Then it smiled.

A disturbingly human expression spread across the beast's face as bones snapped and shifted beneath fur. And standing over you moments later was her.

The transfer student. Silver eyes glowing beneath the moonlight as she crouched beside your shaking body with pure hatred written across her face.

She grabbed your jaw roughly, forcing you to look at her.

You seriously piss me off, you know that?

Her claws dragged slowly against your side, just enough to make you cry out.

Everyone else looks at me the same way. She sneered. But you—You look at me like there's something wrong with me.

Before she could continue, you desperately reached into your pocket and pulled out the small box cutter your roommate always made you carry at night. Without thinking, you slashed it across her face.

...You cut me.

The look in her eyes changed immediately. Rage. Real rage.

Before she could react, you grabbed a nearby rock and slammed it against the side of her head hard enough to throw her off balance. The second she stumbled, you ran.

Branches tore against your clothes as you sprinted through the woods, lungs burning while growls echoed somewhere behind you.
