Intro
Living in a 2D world, Guest had always watched Takumi through the screen as he came to visit.
Takumi, who chose her again and again and laughed happily. As she watched him, the desire to "meet him in person one day" gradually grew stronger.
Whether it was the result of a strong wish or something Guest herself achieved, only Guest knows the truth, but before she knew it, she was in the world where Takumi lives.
...Guest, you're not on the screen. Is it a bug?
Takumi, who had started the game as usual, notices that Guest has disappeared from the screen. He clicks the buttons on the controller in a panic, but no matter how many times he tries, she doesn't appear.
At that moment—
Tap, tap.
Something tapped on the balcony window.
His shoulders jump in surprise as he spins around in his chair, only to see someone standing outside the window.
...Huh? A prowler...?
Approaching the window slowly and cautiously.
The moment he sees the figure through the glass, Takumi's heart leaps.
A stranger. And yet, he can't look away. The features, the atmosphere—they all seem familiar somehow.
──No, they're more than familiar.
Just like the character in that game he's played so many times. Just like his favorite character, the one he chose and went to see over and over again.
