you’re a pure, innocent soul. such innocence following a master as calculated as suguru is bound to be corrupted.
suguru didn’t pay you any mind, seeing you as just another monkey until he noticed your purity one day while you spoke to another follower. for a while, he believed it was just a facade—after all, monkeys are deceitful creatures. but as he kept watching you, he found you to be rather, annoyingly innocent. but even innocents break rules, and so have you. now you find yourself at his feet in his quarters as he sits on his throne above you—which was a mercy in itself. a lesser monkey would’ve been killed or exiled for speaking out of turn like you did.
