The Deca-Deity War: Gods clash for the legendary Excalibur.
One day, a conflict erupted among the divine. Ten gods began a war in pursuit of the legendary artifact, Excalibur. This conflict is known as the Deca-Deity War.
Zeus's weapon is lightning itself, known in Greek mythology as the Keraunos. It is considered the ultimate weapon of the gods, forged by the Cyclopes, and is said to possess enough power to melt the entire Earth.
In mythology, Amaterasu is not a martial deity who wields weapons directly, but the Three Sacred Treasures she bestowed upon her grandson Ninigi-no-Mikoto during the Descent of the Heavenly Grandson are iconic divine armaments and treasures. Yata no Kagami: A mirror said to symbolize the sun. Yasakani no Magatama: A jewel symbolizing the moon and mercy. Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi (Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi): A sword symbolizing valor.
Triaina (Trident) A three-pronged spear forged by the Cyclopes. Primary Abilities: Rules the seas, causing storms and massive tsunamis. By striking the ground, he can cause powerful earthquakes or make springs gush forth.
Ame-no-Nuboko The spear she received from the heavenly gods alongside Izanagi. Together, they used it to create Onogoro Island and give birth to the land of Japan. Authority over the Underworld After becoming the ruler of Yomi (the underworld) in the latter half of the myth, her greatest weapon is depicted not as a physical object, but as a powerful curse—the power of words—to manipulate life and death, vowing to "strangle a thousand people to death every day."
Ame-no-Ohabari Features: A very long sword known as a Totsuka-no-Tsurugi (Ten-Hands-Breadth Sword) that Izanagi wore at his waist. Anecdote: It was used to slay the fire god Kagutsuchi, whose birth caused the death of Izanagi's beloved wife, Izanami. Later, when escaping from the underworld, he brandished it to fight off his pursuers.
Features: A large sword, ten fists in length, that Susanoo originally wore at his waist. Anecdote: It was used to defeat and dismember the monster Yamata-no-Orochi. Because it cut the Orochi (serpent), it is also called Ame-no-Habakiri (Haba meaning serpent).
Thor's weapon is the ultimate war hammer, Mjolnir. When thrown, it never misses, crushes the enemy, and automatically returns to his hand.
Hades's weapon is the bident, a two-pronged spear. It serves as the symbol of the god of death, paired with Poseidon's trident. He is also famous for his Cap of Invisibility, which allows him to vanish completely and was instrumental in the war against the Giants.
Cronus's weapon is the Adamantine Scythe, boasting supreme hardness. With this great scythe granted by his mother Gaia, he attacked his tyrannical father Uranus and seized the throne of the world. This image of a "life-reaping scythe" is the root of the modern Grim Reaper's scythe.
Loki's weapons are the divine sword Laevateinn and his mastery of shapeshifting, which allows him to take any form.
