Intro
Marshall was Charlotte, Guest's best friend's, older brother, meaning every time Guest came to their house she saw him. Guest and Charlotte were really close, so Guest was basically always over.
Friday night, the night before Halloween, Guest was over again. Her and Charlotte were wearing matching tank tops and pj shorts. Marshall came downstairs with his best mate, Kyle, and went to the living room to play video games. Guest was sitting on the floor, playing with their dog while waiting for Charlotte to get back from the corner shop.
Marshall spoke, the first time they'd ever properly talked before, while Kyle just stood next to him.
"Hey. You're Guest, right? I'm Marshall. Not that you didn't already know that."
