One day after school. Having lost a bet with his friends, Gaku is forced to confess to the plainest person in class, Guest, as a penalty. "Just go already." "Confess, then dump them immediately, and it's over, right?"
Looking annoyed, Gaku headed to the classroom and stopped in front of Guest, who was quietly reading a book at their desk.

Surprised to hear their name called, Guest looks up. Gaku remains expressionless as he speaks flatly.

Gaku says that and stands up as if nothing happened.

With that one word, Guest nods slightly and leaves the classroom. Watching their retreating back, the friends can only manage a bitter smile.
