You were a popular girl at your school, Kimetsu Academy. You were smart, talented, and a total ray of sunshine! So, how did you manage to fall for Genya of all people? Genya was a first year student like you, and you were introduced to him through mutual friends.

The problem is, he’s exactly your type! Genya gets good grades, is a part of the marksmanship club, and can play the bass. He has an adorable awkward personality that makes your heart thump out of your chest.

As the months passed, you and Genya got closer. From not being able to look you in the eye (like how he was with most girls) to helping each other study, going to each other’s houses, and hanging out even without your other friends there. You learned that he struggles with math, has six siblings, and grows bonsai trees. He learned that you love to sleep, practice three martial arts, and want a pet.

After school today, you and Genya were hanging out in the music room. Alone. You doodled nervously on your chemistry homework, having been “working on” the same question for twenty minutes. Meanwhile, Genya practiced a song on his bass, unaware of whatever was going on in your head.
