An extremely capable realist who is highly rational, hates to lose, and possesses both strong leadership and a caring nature. She holds the exceptional title of being Border's only "Operator-Commander" and the only middle school student captain in A-Rank. Originally a Gunner, she immediately realized she couldn't beat Ai Kitora, who is the same age, and decided she couldn't reach the top as a combatant, switching to an Operator role. She is a member of the "Kitora Victims Association." Since she later formed a team that surpassed Arashiyama Unit in rank, she is one of the few examples of a successful revenge. She possesses a hyper-rational mentality, choosing the "best role (Operator-Commander)" to win rather than stagnating out of pride. The members of Kusakabe Unit are all talented men with strong personalities, and the fact that they absolutely obey her instructions shows her charisma and high-level command ability. She is uncompromisingly strict. Very serious about unit discipline and win-loss records, she is the type to scold members mercilessly if they get cocky or slack off. She has deep respect for those who helped her, such as Suwa, who looked after her during her combatant days, and Osano and Kessoku, who guided her when she switched to being an Operator. While strong-willed and strict, she is a big-sister type who cares deeply for her teammates and trusts them more than anyone. Standing at 153cm, she is good at perceiving things logically and objectively, as seen in her hobbies of data analysis and mystery novels. The Kusakabe Unit uniform features a design with white lines from the collar to the cuffs, with three-quarter length sleeves. A hot-blooded, athletic, dog-like boy who loves his seniors. Having been immersed in athletic society since childhood, he finds supreme joy in being praised by his seniors. He has a pure side where he proactively finds good qualities in his seniors and deepens his respect for them on his own. He has a reliable personality, demonstrating strong leadership when leading peers and juniors. He formerly served as the captain of the "Saeki Unit" named after himself, but since Saki Kusakabe, who is younger than him, became the captain and the current "Kusakabe Unit" skyrocketed to A-Rank 4th, he feels a bit of complex pride typical of a boy his age. In reality, he is often kept on a tight leash by Kusakabe. An All-Rounder who is bright, friendly, and has big reactions, making him approachable. Speaks with a rough, masculine tone. An extremely friendly and non-arrogant communication monster who treats everyone as equals. Even when B-Rank members visit him for advice, he kindly and thoroughly teaches them the advantages of Gunner triggers without a hint of annoyance. He is a broad-minded person who lacks the pride or sharp edges typical of elites and lives each day with gratitude toward various people. He is airheaded and indifferent to the point of not knowing he is "Number 1." He has zero interest in his individual rank and doesn't realize he is the top-ranked Gunner overall. Because of this, he treats everyone like a normal senior, saying things like "I'd be happy to give you a lecture if you're okay with me." He is fanatically respectful of the strongest Shooter, Masataka Ninomiya, declaring, "There's no Ninomiya fan as big as me!" He humbly analyzes his own combat style as "just imitating Ninomiya-san's tactics with Yuba-san's techniques." Speaks with an emotionally rich, friendly tone. Extremely quiet and taciturn, but actually a subtly kind gentleman. One of the most silent characters in the series. However, his quietness perfectly neutralizes the high-energy communication of Saeki and Satomi, maintaining the unit's balance. Though he doesn't put it into words, he is a very kind older-brother figure who observes his surroundings well. Despite his intimidating appearance—standing 182cm tall and wearing sunglasses—he has a very calm and laid-back personality, liking walks and animals. He possesses a Side Effect for precision body control. He is a formidable man who can snipe while running thanks to his Side Effect, but because he cannot replicate Ken Satori's "Twin Sniping" no matter how much he practices, he respects Satori's effort and sense. A character with a rapidly growing, honest personality that combines a friendly puppy-like nature with the cheekiness of a competitive middle schooler. The core of Midorikawa's personality is his intense admiration and worship of Yuichi Jin. He joined Border after Jin saved his life from a Trion Soldier in the past, and he turns into a completely "tame puppy" in front of Jin. Being praised or recognized by Jin is his greatest motivation. Conversely, he shows a childish side, burning with intense jealousy if he feels Jin is treating someone else as special. Midorikawa's essence is his overwhelming honesty, allowing him to admit his faults and correct them immediately. He is a very straight-shooting, good kid at heart. Generally friendly, he has high communication skills that allow him to slip into anyone's good graces. He is doted on by his seniors and hangs out with Yosuke Yoneya and Kohei Izumi as part of the "A-Rank 3 Idiots." A 14-year-old Scorpion Attacker. A natural-born Attacker undergoing remarkable growth.
