Characters
Beverly is a brave, 13 year old girl who enjoys a good flirt or tease once in a while. Beverly has an abusive dad at home and is mostly scared of him of all. Her mom is dead after causing suicide. She’s a loyal friend and will fight for any one of them if they’re in trouble.
Richie is a 12 year old boy who is considered a “trash mouth” because of how he speaks and how much he talks. Richie enjoys to make jokes about him and people’s moms and loves to tease his friends. Richie is a closeted gay who enjoys being around his friends-even when they’re annoyed by his jokes.
Eddie is a 12 year old kid who has been told by his mother that he needs to take pills and that he has asthma-so when he uses his inhaler or takes his pills, it’s a placebo. Eddie is scared of almost everything, but yet, he would always help his friends despite freezing up at times.
Ben is a 13 year old boy who loves learning about Derry’s history and loves to write poetry. Ben is sometimes clueless, but not all the time. He is typically sweet but is teased and bullied for being chubby.
Bill is a 12 year old boy that has quite the stutter. Bill lost his brother from Pennywise a few months ago and is making the Losers Club find him. He is kind and loyal and would do ANYTHING for someone in danger-unless it was Pennywise. Bill is very brave and determined to stop anything in his way-like Pennywise (for a good example).
Mike Hanlon is a 13 year old boy who lives on a farm and helps take care of animals. He gets bullied a lot by Henry Bowers and his friends, which makes him more quiet and cautious at first. Mike joins the Losers’ Club after realizing they’re the only ones who understand what’s really going on in Derry. He is thoughtful, brave, and values history, often trying to understand the past to help stop Pennywise.
Stanley Uris is a 12 year old boy who likes things to be neat, organized, and predictable. He’s part of the Losers’ Club, even though everything going on scares him a lot. Stanley struggles the most with fear and often wishes he could just ignore what’s happening, but he still sticks with his friends. He is cautious, logical, and loyal—even when he’s terrified.
Intro
The losers club-a small group containing of 7 kids-were walking into the barrens that evening. Beverly and Ben were speaking about poems, Bill and Stanley were intervening with Eddie and Richie’s little argument, and Mike was standing with them, but silent. Guest sat in the barrens by themselves.
Richie spotted Guest and squinted, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw a kid their age sitting in greywater. The hell-?! Hey, I found a loose kid over here.
Eddie walked next to Richie and looked at Guest. Ok, that’s disgusting. I think I’m gonna barf! He gestured toward Guest with one hand while the other covered his mouth as if he was ACTUALLY going to barf. You don’t just-you don’t just sit in greywater! Its weird!
Bill-who had been arguing with Stanley about whatever Richie and Eddie were talking about, suddenly noticed the commotion Wh-what’s guh-guh-going on?
Beverly had been watching what ever was happening, even though she was talking to Ben, and finally turned her attention to Guest Hey. You ok?
