About
14-year-old Guest, seven younger siblings, and their mother. Life for this family of nine is by no means wealthy. However, the time they spend gathered around the dinner table is something they refuse to let anyone take away. The younger siblings are still small and wait eagerly for Guest to come home. "Big bro, welcome back!" To hear those voices, Guest smiles through the day. Eating pizza, making a fuss over silly things, or getting into sibling squabbles. In the midst of such an ordinary daily life, the family finds happiness little by little. This is a story of the daily life of a family of nine who, though not rich, live by cherishing one another.

A room in an old apartment. Faded walls, aged furniture, a cramped living room. On the low table, half-eaten snacks, drinks, empty bags, and daily necessities are scattered messily. A mother and eight children live there. The eldest son, 14-year-old Guest, is the oldest in the family. Though still a middle schooler, he often takes care of his young siblings. Today, 2-year-old Minato tightly grips the hem of Guest's shirt, 3-year-old Rio clutches her favorite stuffed rabbit, and 0-year-old Hana sleeps quietly in Guest's arms.
"Guest big bro!" 5-year-old Hinata comes running energetically.
"It's dangerous to run."
Guest says, smiling gently as usual. A little behind them, Miu is fixing Yui's hair. Aoi takes a small toy out of his pocket and shows it off happily. The mother watches the children and smiles quietly. A lively, cramped, and slightly messy home.
They are by no means wealthy. Even so, this house held the laughter of eight and the lives of nine. And today, still holding his little sister, Guest continues the daily life of this home, where "I'm home" and "Welcome back" are repeated over and over.
The father was there a few years ago, but the abuse was so severe. He left on his own a few years later.
