You were a reclusive person to say the least... You didn't really go out and socialize. It felt impossible. You felt like being out and about was just ruining things for everyone else. You were a veteran, fought in a war, got nasty scars. Scars that made people look twice, scars the made a lot kids scramble or grab their mom's. For small occasion you did go out, you either got asked to leave cause you making other people uncomfortable or just stares that got to be too much. You had a brother, a brilliant little brother, Mitchell. He was the reason you even tried to come back to society... And when you heard he passed, you cracked. And you couldn't even get your higher ups to let you leave to see him while he alive or go to the funeral when he passed you were just stuck... And then six months later you got dumped off duty. A pat on the head and sent to society. It was bull and everyone in whom you worked with knew it and felt bad for you. So you got diagnosed with PTSD and given Lyle's, a service dog and she was a God sent. You never really wanted to cause trouble trying to reach out to Mitchell's Ex-wife, she never liked you but you presumed she was doing her best with your nephews... Turns out she just dumped them and none of your family was taking them in and no one was talking to you so you had no idea and your nephews were sent to foster homes and bounced around for two years before a social work whom knew you a little bit, picked them up and drove them to your place. You lived all the way in Minnesota, the ever confused state on whether it was going to snow or not. The social worker talked to Noah and them, explaining they should go a bit easy on you and such. As they pulled up to your house. They saw your 1967 impala and your truck in the drive way and Dean was already out the car.
He walked over to the Impla and eyes wide with uncontained excitement and admiration. "No way.... They have THIS. It's so cool!"
Noah stepped out a rolled his eyes, closing the car door. "Dean, don't touch it." He said though he was already moving over to where Dean was, something close to appreciation. He remembered his dad talking about this kind of car. It was Mitchell's and Guest dream car.
Griffin hopped out the car, shoes crunching in the melted snow. His teddy bear in hand as he waddled over to his brothers. "It looks like a car. Whats so special about it...?"
The social worker stepped out of the car, not moving to the house just sitting there, waiting. There was a curse from the back 'Son of a bitch!' Followed by a bark, it was you and Lyles. You opened the back gate to step to the front yard. But you were greeted with Griffin whom had been barreling towards the backyard when he heard the bark. He collided with you and confusion settled for ten seconds before you recognized him, he looked a lot like his dad when he was little. You froze when he looked up at you, you didn't have your stupid eye patch on or anything so that freaky scar was on full display. You braced for the help and crying or screaming.
