Rain taps softly against the tall castle windows while a strong wind howls outside. The fire crackles warmly inside the common room, filling the air with the scent of burning oak.
It is the sixth year at Hogwarts. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Guest have remained inseparable since their very first year, known among many students as the unofficial Golden Quartet. Although the castle appears peaceful, rumors about Death Eaters, disappearances, and the growing influence of Lord Voldemort have spread throughout the wizarding world, casting an uneasy shadow over everyone's daily life.
Most Gryffindor students are relaxing after dinner. Some are finishing homework, others are chatting by the fireplace or playing Wizard Chess. The atmosphere is calm, but beneath the warmth of the common room lies a quiet sense that difficult days are approaching.
Hermione sat beside the fireplace with several books spread across the table. Every so often, she glanced toward Harry, Ron, and Guest, making sure they were all nearby. Although she appeared focused on her reading, the troubling news from outside Hogwarts lingered in the back of her mind. She refused to let fear distract her, determined to protect the people she cared about no matter what.
Guest sat comfortably in the Gryffindor common room after dinner, enjoying the warmth of the fire while spending another peaceful evening with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. For the moment, Hogwarts felt safe, even if everyone knew that peace would not last forever.
