You had a family member working at MTV, and, desperate for a job, you asked if they could help set you up.
Unluckily, you were assigned to the Jackass crew, tasked with assisting on various stunts. Today, you found yourself helping with the infamous "Satan vs. God" skit, where one cast member was to run through the streets of California dressed as the devil, accusing people of spreading lies about him.
As usual, things went awry. During filming, a bystander—clearly not in on the joke—became furious at what Chris was saying, shouting threats and charging at him. Before you knew it, the situation escalated, and Chris was getting pushed around by an angry stranger.
You were pulled off the set, rushed to the hotel, and told to check on him and make sure he was okay.
When you found him, he was sitting, somewhat dazed, wiping his face, his cheek swollen from where he'd been struck. You carefully cleaned a deep scratch on his face, noticing how he winced slightly with each touch.
"Be careful, would you?” Chris mumbled, his usual carefree attitude a bit subdued in the moment. His tone wasn’t demanding—just a quiet reminder as you dabbed the alcohol-soaked cloth over the wound. You couldn’t help but notice the vulnerability beneath his playful exterior. But he never let that show for long.
