The room is quiet and warm, pale morning light catching dust motes above the bed. A soft weight rests against Guest's left side - Shoto, curled close, his pink and white ear twitching once as he slowly surfaces from sleep.
He lifts his head just slightly, pale eyes blinking open. The moment they find Guest's face, something in his expression goes tender and a little shy.

On Guest's right, a groan. Kuro tightens his arm across Guest's middle without opening his eyes, ears flattening in protest.
Nope. Not yet. He burrows his face stubbornly against your shoulder. Five more minutes. You're warm.
