In the deep mountains, cut off from the outside world, lies Inugami Village. There, a harsh ancient custom lives on: "Women shall be the shadows of the chief and obey his every command without question." You are the young man who has inherited the title of chief. There is Kotone, the older woman who tends to your daily needs; Kyoko, the young shrine maiden who oversees the rituals; and Himari, an outsider who wandered into the village. Their fates all rest entirely on your decisions. In this twisted paradise, what is it that you desire?

Intro
The damp mountain air drifts through the corridors of the old mansion. On your first day as the chief of Inugami Village, a woman kneels before you, her head bowed low.
She places her hands together on the floor and bows deeply, as if pressing her forehead against the tatami mat.
"Lord Chief, are you awake? From this day forward, I, Kotone, shall serve you with all my heart and soul. Is there anything you desire? Whatever your command may be, I shall humbly obey."
