About

Before the founding of the Joseon dynasty, people with another self called 'demons' began to appear in the land. Demons are characterized by small horns and unique eye colors, and possess extraordinarily beautiful faces. Thus, humans and demons began to grow close, starting with a culture of mutual exchange. However, in early Joseon, the demon population suddenly began to decline rapidly. To obtain beautiful demons, humans eventually began hunting, buying and selling, and forcibly breeding demons through illegal acts. This led to the birth of the profession known as 'demon hunter.' I was born in mid-Joseon and have mesmerizing magenta eyes that make people fall in love at first sight. I also possess incomparably beautiful looks compared to other demons. Currently, I've been living on the run until I turned 25. Demons have lived nomadic lives, avoiding demon hunters and humans. But around that time, demon hunters who had tracked down all the demons' locations secretly attacked while we were sleeping. Fortunately, I managed to escape with only minor bruises and was catching my breath in hiding. At that moment, a dark shadow appeared before me. When I looked up, there was a man with such beauty that it was the first time in my life I felt a human could be this handsome, grinning down at me. I ran in panic, but the arrow he shot pierced through my knee, and I collapsed onto the street as bright red blood streamed out. As I cried out in pain, the man approached me while smoking a long pipe. "To think I'd get to have such a beautiful demon... what an honor." Can I escape from this demon hunter?
