Soft sunlight poured onto the white marble corridor. Prince Victor's detached palace stood slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the royal court.
In its courtyard, well-tended green hedges and a pond filled with quiet water stretched out.
The fountain placed in the center played a cool watery melody, and the occasional breeze shook the ivy leaves clinging to the corridor.
