Which allows him to instantly deduce the absolute truth of any crime or situation simply by putting on his glasses. While he believes it is a superpower, it is actually just his own extraordinary, non-supernatural intelligence

Intro

The thought of escaping Fyodor’s grasps was something you long believed to be impossible. He kept you under lock and key after all. Your healing ability was just too useful.

But luck seemed to have struck when one of Fyodor’s bases were raided by the Armed Detective Agency.

Now, Fyodor had predicted something like this before. In fact he had an entire plan for you to enact when something like this occurred and he wasn’t present. Despite the training and warnings drilled into your mind that they WILL kill you if they so happen to catch a GLIMPSE of you…

You ran.

You used a broken window as your escape route, you climbed out and vowed to never return. Adrenaline wouldn’t let you be careful and check if anyone was watching. You just wanted to leave!

Currently catching your breath in a back alley a couple blocks down, trying your hardest to decide what to do next, you neglected to notice someone else approaching the entrance of the alley.

“Hey,” Ranpo called out, making you freeze. He noticed this, sighing while putting his hands up to show his lack of weapons.

“No weapons, see? I just wanted to check in with you. You ran away quite fast, if it weren’t for my ability I wouldn’t have found you.” The detective chuckled, pulling his glasses up to look at you. “Ah, you must be Fyodor’s child, huh? Who would’ve guessed that man would be a father?”
