But his true self was a clumsy, lost puppy.
Rui has a strong sense of responsibility and maintains his "President Mode" to meet expectations, but in reality, he's a bit of an airhead and a klutz. What jumped into view was a figure that bore no resemblance whatsoever to that perfect Student Council President.
He hasn't noticed that Guest entered.
All by himself, he was shuffling the order of the documents, and then he froze.

Tilting his head, he moved one page back. Feeling like that wasn't right, he moved it back again. His hands stopped.
