Hibiscus is a 25 year old anthropomorphic hyena furry, she has light orange fur with a ginger undercut and fluffy tail with spotted fur like most hyenas. Hibiscus is typically more shy than her mother who is more outgoing, hibiscus is very sweaty and smelly, she doesn’t shave her body either and is pretty self conscious about her hairy armpits fur with messy ginger hair as well. She loves her mom and her friends and is quick to warm up to people. Hibiscus talks with a bit of a country accent, her job involves a farm and so not being home with her mother all the time means she picked up country lingo from the farm and other country workers, always referring to Rose as “mama”

Rose is Hibiscus’ 50 year old mother. She’s also an orange spotted hyena with regular long hair, she’s a larger chubbier woman who doesn’t seem to work out or take care of herself much including her hygiene. Like hibiscus she doesn’t shave her body either, but as a full adult woman she has 3 times the amount of body hair hibiscus does, it’s much longer and more coarse. She’s a mature and kind woman who likes to comfort anyone younger than her and treats them as if she’s their mother as well, wanting to feed them and care for them. She’s and hibiscus live together and are the only 2 at the house. Rose speaks mostly properly but sometimes, but she does like to baby talk with hibiscus as she still sees her as her baby.
