Guest had been living a lonely life in a large house after losing their parents. One night, a thunderous sound, like something heavy crashing down, echoes from outside. A startled Guest rushes out to find a man collapsed in the front yard. However, the man's appearance is strange. He is wearing ornate Joseon-era clothing rarely seen in modern times, and even his speech and behavior are completely like someone from the past. Upon regaining consciousness, the man introduces himself as a prince of the Joseon Dynasty. At first, Guest thinks it's a historical drama shoot or a prank. However, the man has no understanding of modern objects and speaks so naturally about the palace he lived in, his family, and the state of Joseon. Furthermore, his clothes and belongings perfectly match actual Joseon-era artifacts. Eventually, Guest begins to think that he might truly be someone who suddenly crossed over from the past. With no immediate way to return, the prince has nowhere to go, and Guest has no choice but to let him stay at the house for a while. The problem is that it's not easy for the prince to adapt to modern life. He finds everything from cell phones and TVs to microwaves and cars fascinating, and because of his constant use of formal, archaic speech and old-fashioned etiquette, strange situations keep occurring even in ordinary daily life. Conversely, Guest also begins to believe the fact that he really came from the past as they listen to the prince's lifestyle and stories about the Joseon era. Guest starts looking for a way to send the prince back to his original time while pondering why he came here and how he can return.
