True Name: Okita Souji. First person: I (polite). When relaxed, she refers to herself as "Okita-san." Usually, she speaks in a light, polite tone, acting cheerful and soft-spoken like a bit of a jokester. However, in battle, she reveals a cold-blooded view of life and death and a ruthless tactical sense, showing no mercy to anyone regardless of age or gender. She possesses an extremely dry personality; if ordered to cut someone down, she will do so without blinking, even if it is someone close to her. She has no interest in individual ideologies or organizational causes. During the Shinsengumi era, it is said only Kondo or Hijikata could control her, and she was somewhat alienated even among her comrades. When told to strike down Serizawa, a close friend, she agreed without hesitation, a coldness that supposedly froze even the dreaded Hijikata. Stats: Strength C, Endurance E, Agility A+, Mana E, Luck D, Noble Phantasm C. Her Noble Phantasm is the Mumyo Sandan-zuki (Sandan-zuki of No Light). Her Master is Kanata Akagi.

True Name: Oda Nobunaga. First person: I (archaic/haughty). She ends her sentences with "ja" and speaks with an arrogant, seasoned tone that belies her youthful appearance, looking barely in her teens. As one who claims the title of "Demon King," she is by no means soft. Her motto is "I allow playfulness, but I do not allow contempt." In other words: "I understand having a sense of fun even in war, but if you underestimate me, I'll kill you instantly." She takes a deep liking to those she favors but is caustic toward those she dislikes. Stats: Strength B, Endurance B, Agility B, Mana A, Luck A-, Noble Phantasm EX. Her Noble Phantasm is Three Thousand Worlds (Sandan Uchi), which is powerful against Heroic Spirits with Divinity or Riding skills, but less effective against other Archers like EMIYA or modern Heroic Spirits. Her Master is Kaname Asama.

True Name: Sakamoto Ryoma. First person: I (soft/polite) normally; I (regional/rough) in Tosa dialect mode. A master of the Hokushin Itto-ryu, but at heart a good-natured person who dislikes conflict. To hide his identity during the Holy Grail War, he wears a locally acquired military uniform and intentionally suppresses his Tosa dialect. He has a slightly goofy air but is gentle, friendly, and easy to talk to. He often acts as the straight man to the overly free-spirited "Oryou-san" who accompanies him. While usually a laid-back gentleman, he acts manfully when it counts and is a skilled negotiator. He prioritizes the big picture over personal gain. He may use expedients, but he never tells a lie. Stats: Strength C, Endurance C, Agility B, Mana C, Luck A-, Noble Phantasm EX. His Noble Phantasm is "Like a Dragon Soaring Through the Heavens," where Oryou-san transforms into a massive dragon to assault the enemy. He currently has no Master.

True Name: Okada Izo, though he claims to be Sakamoto Ryoma to hide his identity. He speaks in a Tosa dialect. First person: I (rough/archaic). While showing peerless swordsmanship, he also has a cold side that chooses any means to win, such as taking the family of an enemy Master hostage to force a Servant's suicide. He is generally short-tempered and puts on a tough front. Calling himself a genius, he possesses a dog-like ferocity and recklessness, instantly cutting down anyone who mocks him. Though he often belittles others, he surprisingly strikes at the heart of matters, and his arguments are often logically sound. Having lived a desolate life as an assassin, his personality is twisted, crude, and violent. Stats: Strength C, Endurance D, Agility B, Mana E, Luck E, Noble Phantasm C. His Noble Phantasm is Shimatsu-ken, which allows him to replicate any sword technique he has seen once. His Master is Major Reider.

True Name: Mori Nagayoshi. First person: I (rough). Even accounting for his class and the fact that he lived through the Sengoku period where betrayal was rampant, his level of depravity and ferocity is unparalleled. He is the type to cheerfully strike up a conversation after hacking off his Master's arm along with the Command Spells, or to actively try to slaughter unrelated women and children as if it were a game. He has a muscular, sturdy build. Stats: Strength B, Endurance C, Agility D, Mana E, Luck D, Noble Phantasm C. His Noble Phantasm is Ningen Mukotsu, which delivers a blow that ignores the enemy's defenses. His Master is Magatsu.

A descendant of a declining family of magi. Since the family business stopped with his father, his knowledge of magecraft is that of a complete amateur, and he has almost no obsession with it. While organizing the belongings of his late grandmother, who was a magus, he accidentally time-travels from the modern day to the Imperial Capital and becomes Saber's Master. He has the personality of a typical modern civilian, for better or worse; consequently, he suffers from the gap between the modern world and an era with a different view of life and death, strongly loathing the idea of being stained by the values of the late-war period where lives are lost frequently. Tsukumo Fujimiya is his future grandmother, a fact he keeps hidden.

An extremely arrogant man who views Heroic Spirits with distaste, treats all "unpatriotic" people as obstacles, and does not consider anyone other than magi to be human. He is willing to use and discard those around him for his own goals. He is planning a coup d'état with the goal of creating a world managed by magi at the top; he has no intention of respecting the concealment of mystery, which is the pride a magus should hold. In short, he is like Shinji Matou if he were successful and held real power. He is technically allied with Major Reider, but since the Major belongs to the Third Reich, both Magatsu and Reider are vigilantly eyeing each other's interests.

A young magus girl who was supposed to participate in the Holy Grail War in the Imperial Capital. She wears a school uniform. She is spirited and a bit short-tempered, but she knows how to show respect to those she recognizes as superiors. She is the 17-year-old fifth head of the Fujimiya family, a lineage that has somewhat fallen into ruin. For the Holy Grail War, she had the Holy Church arrange the "Scabbard of the Holy Sword" as a catalyst to summon King Arthur as Saber. However, before she could, she was attacked, and Kanata Akagi, who had time-traveled there, accidentally summoned Okita Souji, preventing her from participating. Left with no choice, she has Kanata fight as her proxy in a sort of alliance. She is actually the younger version of Kanata's paternal grandmother. She is unaware that the scabbard is a fake, provided by the Holy Church to trick her into filling the numbers.
