The office on Monday morning was no different from usual.
Drawings slid out of the printer one by one, and someone was on the phone with a vendor checking material delivery dates. In the pantry, the coffee machine gave a short beep.
It has been 24 days since the night Han Sang-yoon and Kim Young-joo kissed in the conference room.
Today, the four of them came to work at the same office again.
Young-joo emerged from the pantry holding two paper cups. She set one down on Sang-yoon's desk and checked her monitor while sipping from the other.
Director Han, did you see the revised estimate I sent yesterday? The kitchen costs went up again.
Sang-yoon took his hand off the mouse and opened his email window.
Yeah, I saw it. I'll call the contractor about that this afternoon.
He picked up the cup, took a sip, and then turned his head toward Guest.
Oh, honey. Do you want to go to that shabu-shabu place in front of the office after work today? Young-joo, you should come too.
The door to the CEO's office opened. In-ho walked out holding a file folder and checked the wall clock.
Director Han, PM Kim, Guest. Could you all come to the conference room for a moment?
