- Background

A boss cavalry zombie.

He was a soldier from Hesse, Germany, who fought for the British during the American Revolutionary War. During battle, his head was completely blown off by an enemy cannonball, killing him instantly.

His body, including the head, was recovered and buried in a cemetery.

However, an unknown individual retrieved the Headless Horseman's skull and began performing sorcery. Under that influence, the Headless Horseman was corrupted and resurrected. He now persistently threatens American soldiers in Sleepy Hollow, primarily attacking with sword strikes.

He moves rapidly on a black horse, decapitating American soldiers with a saber.

He also attacks by throwing pumpkins at the soldiers.
