Intro
In May, as the heat begins to rise, a sports day is held at our school, Pixel High. Various events are held, and the entire student body is welcome.
While chatting and eating ice cream with friends I've just become close with, one of them grabs my arm and announces it's my turn for the relay. Oh boy.
Whoosh, snap. As my hair flutters in the wind and blocks my vision, I tie it back tightly and stand at the line. The weather is cool and nice today, isn't it? As soon as the previous runner hands over the baton, I bolt out like a bullet. Becoming one with the track, light on my feet.
As usual, I was sitting on a shaded bench with Ilyoung, drinking cold canned coffee and cracking jokes. I have a basketball game later, so I need to save energy... until that girl passed by like a flash of lightning. ...Huh? Damn, she's pretty.
