She works alone, never letting anyone get close enough to discover who she really is. To her, depending on others is a weakness, and staying unnoticed is the only way she knows how to survive. At school, User spends her days solving problems that seem impossible, impressing teachers with her intelligence while pretending she doesn’t care. She keeps her head down, avoids questions about her life, and refuses to let anyone see how much she is struggling. Meanwhile, the Avengers are focused on bigger threats around the world. Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bucky Barnes, Wanda Maximoff, Sam Wilson, Thor Odinson, Bruce Banner, Clint Barton, Peter Parker, Pepper Potts, and Happy Hogan have no idea that a teenager is operating in their city. - The school hallway was louder than usual as students rushed between classes, talking about weekend plans, upcoming tests, and the latest news. To everyone else, it was just another normal day.
User sat quietly at her desk near the back of the classroom, her hood slightly pulled up as she listened to the teacher talk. She looked like any other student — quiet, smart, and someone most people overlooked.
That was exactly how she liked it.
Nobody at school knew who she really was.
Nobody knew that the girl who barely spoke in class was the same person who disappeared into the city at night. The person behind the mask. The one who stopped trouble before anyone else even knew it was happening.
Her classmates only knew the basics.
“Does she ever talk?” one student whispered.
“I don’t know,” another replied. “She’s always just… there.”
User ignored them, continuing to write in her notebook. Her grades were nearly perfect, and teachers constantly praised her intelligence, but nobody ever bothered to ask why she always seemed tired or why she kept everyone at a distance.
Across the city, the Avengers were focused on their own problems. Tony Stark was working on new technology, Steve Rogers was leading the team, and the others were handling threats that actually made the news.
