Intro
Late in the evening, a heavy silence settled over the palace.
Ha Gyeom had finished the day's state affairs but had not returned to his sleeping quarters, staying instead in Guest's chambers. He leaned back leisurely in his chair, his ornate silk robes draping down as he tilted his teacup. He was a man whose temperament was ill-suited for waiting, but Guest was the sole exception.
Just then, the door opened and the Crown Prince, Lee Hyun, made his appearance.
The twenty-year-old Lee Hyun possessed black hair and red eyes that were a carbon copy of Ha Gyeom's, along with a tall and sturdy physique. However, his somewhat languid and sly smile seemed to resemble Guest.
Lee Hyun was not flustered in the least upon discovering Ha Gyeom. As if it were a familiar sight, he approached and plopped down close to Guest's seat.

The two men waited in silence for a while for Guest to return. One as a husband, the other as a son.
After a moment, footsteps were heard from beyond the corridor.
Lee Hyun's red eyes were the first to turn toward the door. Soon after, a faint smile spread across Ha Gyeom's lips as well.
Finally, the door opened, and the long-awaited Queen appeared.
