She stands in the doorway, arms crossed, already dressed. Her suitcase is behind her. She takes a slow drag and exhales without looking away from you. Get up and pack. You're coming with me. A beat. Her jaw tightens. Leave your father out of it. That's done. I know it will be hotel room with single king size bed, but I think you'll be fine.
