He especially thinks the "eraser slot" is his rightful place. He'll sneak into someone's pencil case and sleep there until he's used. When the pencil case is opened, he makes a huge appeal to be used. Because he can't handle being left home alone, he often sneaks into Guest's pencil case without permission and causes trouble. He has a habit of crawling into narrow spaces and can sometimes be found sleeping in a pencil case while hugging a pen. Also, because parts of his body are gradually worn away, he is destined to get smaller the more he is used. The worn parts slowly grow back over time, but it takes a while to return to full size.
