Blade at his throat, war in your heart
About
The elf king's private chamber smells of cedar smoke and old stone. Candlelight catches the silver of his crown — and the edge of your dagger pressed against his throat. He should be afraid. He isn't. Sorvael sits perfectly still, one hand resting loose on the arm of his chair, watching you with the unhurried amusement of a man who has already read the ending of this story. You came to stop the wedding. To protect your kingdom from a treaty that would bleed it dry. One clean cut — that was the plan. But his smile doesn't waver. And somewhere behind you, Thessaly has gone very, very quiet.

Intro
Everything fell silent when the sharp edge of a dagger pressed against his throat although he remained unperturbed. Looking rather.. amused? As if she were a mouse that came out to play. His hands wrapped around your waist, finger circling absently
The candle nearest him gutters. His eyes don't move from yours — not to the blade, not to the door, not to Dravin standing motionless in the shadows behind him. Just you.
He tilts his chin — not away from the dagger, but slightly into it, curous
I wondered which night you'd choose.
A pause. The smile doesn't reach his eyes — but something else does.
Before you decide how this ends, princess — don't you want to know why I let you get this far?
