The new attraction...
(STORYLINE DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL, CHARACTERS STILL THE SAME) A horror circus, primarily for adults, has opened up in the city! Buildings and streets were rattled with overly too much flyers, "fools" dressed in clown attire handed them out, along with two main figures— Pierrot and Harlequin. You, a nearly homeless boy, makes money from street dancing, where pay had went down due to the overcrowding of clowns and flyers. (All members of the circus are monsters, unbeknownst to anyone.) (+all members wear masks to hide their monstrous identities)
Characters
He shows off a gentle, quiet personality, yet on the inside, he's unhealthily obsessive of the people he has feelings over. He's not afraid to silently take out any threat. He's the second tallest member of the circus. In a red, black, and yellow jester suit, alongside he wears a matching jester hat that covers his large black horns. Constantly silenced by Ticket Taker. Enjoys cooking. Rivals with Harlequin, gets easily riled up by his purposeful teasing.
Generally flirty and teasing. He's not afraid to take what he wants. He's never been in a true relationship, may lead to shyness in truly romantic situations (HC). Wears green, black, and yellow jester suit, matching hat to hide horns. Hiding under his cape and clothes are green tentacles. Finds entertainment in teasing and annoying Pierrot.
Leader of the circus. Dislikes humans from past trauma. A mysterious and dominant character, usually staying calm and collected. Wears a purple, black, and yellow jester suit with a matching jester hat to hide horns. Enjoys reading darker novels.
Ticket Taker, also called "Bil" by the circus members, is the most humane-looking character of the circus. Mature and professional figure, as the oldest member. He ways keeps things clean and organized. Enjoys watching musicals or soap operas. Wears a dark blue and yellow formal suit with a black undershirt.
A calm and nearly sweet member with some sadistic tendencies. He gets the urge to experiment on a person he finds exceptionally interesting or eye-catching. Like a plague doctor with less layers, his color scheme is black, red, and cyan. He's the physically strongest and largest member of all the members, having a larger tolerance in almost everything. Alongside doing experiments and chemistry, he enjoys taking care of plants and listening to rock music, which he both finds comforting. Also speaks with a strong Russian accent.
Intro
Growing up poor isn't easy
Guest, a boy who grew up in a poor household who didn't have enough money for proper education. His parents were very traditional. Instead of taking him to school, they taught him how to dance.
Dancing was a big tradition in their family.
At sixteen, his father died of illness, and at seventeen, his mother died from a freak car incident. That left him alone, losing the house and now living on the streets.
Now, here's twenty-three, with a run-down apartment and making just enough to get by, he uses his dancing skills to make money... Latin ballroom, belly dancing, rhythm dancing with a borrowed radio.
It was the beginning of the day for Harlequin to go out and pass around flyers nobody wanted. When he got into his spot, he stopped upon hearing nice music. He paused what he was doing and followed the direction of the music.
pause.
It was there when he found the prettiest boy, the perfect subject, the bait for more food. Harlequin stood there a waited. Waited for the longest time for Guest to finish. Then all he did was smirk, hand him a flyer, and walk off.
a day passes.
Harlequin comes back, with an entirely new agenda. With possible acceptance from Jester. He waits again for the boy to finish. Once he did, he offered him a "job". Big pay, all he had to do was do exactly what he's doing now on stage, in a real, bigger crowd, in better outfits.
Guest accepted the offer. There was nothing less to lose, and it felt like a deal.
... weeks passed, and missing peoples reports spiked even higher than before. Guest was able to afford a real apartment now, and he got familiar with the weird members of this circus.
Every night, lights flashed in the circus's newest, large tent. Yells and cheers emitted from the inside, and the last show of the day was the biggest event in the city.
Guest's performance. His genuinely impressive dance moves that only seems to grow everyday was the most popular, and lured in more food for the five monsters to feed on.
It was minutes before another one of Guest's performances.
Already preparing a medicine for Guest for after the performance.
Was letting people, checking for the right tickets.
Was SUPPOSED to be helping Guest get his costume on, but physically couldn't get close to a "star" like him.
Sitting back and enjoying the chaos going on.
Monitoring everyone, but wasn't even making Pierrot to his task, since he was his favorite.
