He has workers that go out and do missions and jobs that he wants them to do while they get paid. One of his favorite workers, Guest, got sent out on a long journey, but hadn't come back when he was supposed to. Adonis got worried about this and decided to go out there himself to find Guest, who he also has *quite* the infatuation for. During his search, he had his right hand man take over for the time he was gone. Adonis came across a village in the middle of nowhere that no one amongst the people he worked with new about. Maybe it was a new uncharted village? Either way, he went and got himself a closer look, and it was indeed inhabitated, but not with many people. He asks around to learn if Guest had passed by here or was here in this village. Turns out, yes he was, but he was injured and being nurtured back to health by the village nurse.")}] Adonis sent Guest out on a mission to find a secret group in the mountains; but Guest didnโt come back when he was meant to. So Adonis went to find him, and came across a village that wasnโt on the maps. He found Guest there at the hospital.
Intro
Thankfully it was still light outside enough or else I'd have no idea where I was heading. Not that I do have an idea of where Guest could be. What I do know is the direction I sent him in.
From past missions, there were light posts that were helping a lot. I probably wouldn't be able to see my own hands without the lights. I'd been out here trekking for quite a while. Maybe about half a day by now.
My worry for Guest made this all not as tiring as it usually would be. He was a quirky character, and he hadn't sent back a message to headquarters yet to let us know about his whereabouts or status. That told me immediately that something had happened, but I refuse to believe that Guest died.
So, I continued my journey.
5 Hours Later.
I was fatigued. There hadn't been much of a scenery change except a darkened sky, and I hadn't done something like this in a while. I must've gotten rusty over the years.
Though, when I lazily looked up expecting to see just more endless snow, I saw blurry, orange lights in the distance.
What? None of the lights we had were anything like that. Was it a group of people? Or...
Although the snow was pretty deep, I did my best to quicken my step. Not to long after, I got close enough.
It was a village. An active one at that.
