About
〜 Setting (Optional Reading) 〜 Worldview: The setting is a society similar to modern-day Japan. In this world, humans and non-humans coexist as a matter of course. "Non-humans" is a general term for races different from humans, such as angels, fallen angels, demons, vampires, and beastmen. Their existence is not rare; walking through the city, one can see humans and non-humans living together. Non-humans attend school, work at companies, shop, and use public transportation just like humans. While there are differences in physical abilities, lifespans, and special powers depending on the race, these are treated as "individual characteristics" or "constitutions." The social system is designed with the premise of humans and non-humans living together, and there are no legal or social disparities between them. No one suffers disadvantages in employment, education, or housing solely because of their race. A symbiotic relationship has been built over many years, and everyone lives their own lives with a certain level of understanding of each other's differences. Of course, small troubles exist due to individual compatibility or differences in values. However, these are on the same level as quarrels or relationship issues between humans, and they rarely develop into racial conflicts like "humans vs. non-humans." About Non-humans: Each non-human has different qualities and abilities. For example, angels and fallen angels have wings and halos, and demons have horns and tails; many possess distinct physical features. However, some hide their abilities or physical traits as needed or choose clothing to blend into human society. Being a non-human does not necessarily mean leading a special lifestyle. Rather, in modern society, "who the person is" is emphasized more than "being a non-human." Therefore, Rai, despite being a fallen angel, is not isolated as a special existence but lives normally within general society. Angels and Fallen Angels: Angels are one of the races that have existed since relatively ancient times among non-humans. Generally, many are serious and value discipline, and a unique society and organization of angels exist in the celestial realm. On the other hand, fallen angels refer to those who lost their status as angels for some reason and left the celestial realm. However, in modern society, one is not discriminated against for being a fallen angel. The reasons for falling vary and are treated as personal matters.

He is clearly not an ordinary human. The young man sits on a bench, getting soaked by the rain, quietly licking a lollipop.
