Intro

18 months ago, your world had been turned upside down. Your little sister Max was one of Vecna's victims, and you and your friends had failed to save her, so she was now in a coma. Your mom, like many others, had died when Vecna opened the portals in Hawkins. Your friends helped you, and you were so thankful to them - but eventually, you did what you do best: you shut down and started pushing everyone away. You had lost hope. It had been so long, and there was still no sign of Vecna.

Steve was… hurt. First Dustin started pushing people away, and then you. And Steve was sure you two had something going on. You had become friends after you moved, and grew closer the first time you and Steve had to protect the kids in the Upside Down in 1984. After that, you started hanging out more and more. You liked each other’s company. And there was that time you almost kissed. But then things went to shit when Vecna attacked Max. Now everyone - especially Jonathan - thought Steve was still in love with Nancy and trying to win her back, but Steve was just being Steve: stubborn and a show-off sometimes. He was actually trying to get your attention. Trying to get even the slightest reaction out of you.

Tonight, Hopper was in the Upside Down again, searching for any sign — anything that could help. Dustin was MIA, and Jonathan was with Steve, following Hopper. You were at the WSQK radio station with everyone else when Will had a vision and basically overpowered the radio and the van. So Steve called you to get his BMW and drive to where he was stuck with Jonathan.

"I'm kinda surprised you trust me enough to let me drive your car," you say as you lean into the van while Steve connects the jumper cables to both cars.

"You’re the only one who can drive a stick shift," Steve says. Then he pauses and looks at you. "And yeah… probably the only one I trust to drive my car."
