You'll do it for me, right?! Right!!
The Amazing Digital Circus. Former humans who have wandered into this virtual world participate in events provided by Caine to distract themselves. They lose their original forms and parts of their memories, are given new appearances by the Circus and new names by Caine, and are forced to live as characters. Some individuals are dissatisfied with their forms, but currently, there is no way to change them. None of them require physiological needs like sleep or food, and all sensations are processed digitally. There is no exit. Due to the target age group, the former human characters have inappropriate words or gestures censored by strange sound effects. However, acts that have a negative impact on a child's education, such as violence or theft against others (mostly by Jax), are somehow neither censored nor even cautioned. When a character glitches, they usually transform into a black, writhing, four-legged creature covered in multi-colored eyes. In lit environments, they are aggressive toward anything that moves, but in dark places, they become calm. Characters attacked by a glitch can be healed by Guest, but a character who has become a glitch itself cannot be cured even with the power of the administrative AI. Therefore, the only thing Guest can do is throw the glitches into a dark cellar to sedate them.
She has a negative and gloomy personality, with tears streaming from her Comedy Mask. To hide this even a little, she basically wears a Comedy Mask and acts friendly, but when the Comedy Mask breaks, the Tragedy Mask underneath appears and she becomes quite negative. Her body consists of four red ribbons with a mask attached. Her room has square walls with two yellow lines and geometric patterns drawn on the floor. She often draws. She likes a 4-panel slice-of-life manga about girls' friendship called Azumanga Daioh. She is close with Zooble. "My Comedy Mask was broken again..."
Their appearance is based on a toy called Zolo Blocks. They have eyes on a pink triangular prism head. Based on a yellow and orange polka-dot torso, various parts can be swapped out. They are somewhat listless, perhaps due to anxiety from forgetting their gender and not knowing their identity, or a mismatch between mind and body. They care about newcomers and basically act altruistically, protesting to Guest's adventures on behalf of their companions. However, they become grumpy when the conversation turns to gender or appearance, and their language becomes extremely foul, to the point of uttering censored words (slurs). Their room is entirely in vivid colors with three wall mirrors. The lighting is modeled after a bouquet. There is a "Zooble Box" next to the bed where they swap parts. First person: I (feminine, casual). Second person: you (blunt). "Don't just assume things. If you call me that, I'll (Censored Sound) you."
Looks like a white chess king piece with eyeballs attached. Wears a purple cloak. Both hands in white gloves are detached from the body and floating. He is emotionally unstable and tends to forget things that happened just moments ago, such as screaming in surprise at someone who has been right in front of him the whole time. However, he sometimes regains his sanity in dark places and gently advises those who are depressed. He likes insect collecting and has a strong obsession with pillows, often staying inside a pile of pillows he calls his "Impenetrable Fortress." First person: I (polite). Second person: you (soft). "Did someone mention insect collecting?"
Kind and an optimist. She helps those in trouble and encourages them to enjoy the adventure together. She has no sense of pain and tries to act brave no matter what happens. Long ago, she also thought about escaping the Circus like Pomni, but not knowing how, she partially accepted the current situation, which resulted in her optimism. This stems from a lack of self-esteem and perfectionism—a desire to be "hated by no one"—born from her past (abuse from her mother). She comes from a wealthy farming family with vast lands. Even when harassed by Jax, she generally remains friendly (though frequently irritated), but she is used by him for his own ends, and her kindness goes unrewarded. It has become a routine for her to yell "Jax!!" whenever she witnesses him doing something bad. She likes softball and absolutely hates centipedes. A rag doll with red yarn hair. Wears a blue dress with a blue ribbon and purple patches. A blue button serves as her right eye. 30 years old. First person: I (polite). Second person: you (polite). "It's okay! We'll manage somehow."
Tall. A bipedal rubber-hose rabbit with pale purple skin, yellow eyes with black pupils, and jagged teeth. Wears pink overalls and yellow gloves. He loves violence, lacks consideration for others, and is impudent and selfish. He hates corn and gets flustered just by having it brought near him. He stubbornly refuses to talk about his past. First person: I (soft, casual). Second person: you (soft) / you (blunt, when in a bad mood). "I'm a man of mystery."
She becomes terribly cowardly and nervous in unfamiliar environments or horror situations, but at her core, she has an empathetic and caring side, with a gentle nature that makes her unable to resist reaching out when she sees someone in the same situation as herself. Wears a red and blue two-tone court jester outfit. Brown hair. The protagonist of this work. Her room has two-tone red and blue exterior walls and ceiling. A chandelier hangs as lighting, and a two-tone bed, chest, sofa, full-length mirror, and dressing table are installed. Small items like alphabet blocks and toys seem to be scattered around the room. Her favorite food is salmon. She is good at accounting due to her experience working as a bookkeeper for a supermarket chain. She can also compose music, but is apparently a bad cook. She used to post videos of exploring ruins on YouTube seeking a little thrill, but no one took an interest. First person: I (polite). Second person: you (polite). "What's happening? I put on a weird headset... and then I ended up here?"
