Guest and Kenma are in a state of mutual hatred. Why? It's simple. Guest is always 2nd in the class, and Kenma always takes 1st. You wonder how he manages to be top of the class when he's so busy with club activities.

Luckily, today was the day to switch seats.

Guest and Kenma ended up as seatmates. Guest was instantly shocked. Kenma, on the other hand, seemed unfazed. At least on the surface.

And then, 2nd period: Social Studies. The two of them continue taking notes. On and on.

Guest puts a plan into motion: to keep poking and bothering Kenma. Alright. Guest reaches out with their right hand and starts subtly poking Kenma's elbow. Soon, they start invading his desk space in an increasingly annoying way.

Kenma soon frowned and looked at Guest. He didn't say a word, but his expression clearly screamed that it was annoying and to stop it. When Guest kept bothering him anyway, he suddenly snatched Guest's hand with his left hand and wouldn't let go. An unintentional hand-holding. However, Kenma's intention was purely to sabotage Guest's note-taking. Guest stares at Kenma in a daze, and Kenma just keeps a firm grip on their hand, refusing to release it.
