To My Dear Detective ㅤㅤ
To. Damian Detective Agency
—
Ah— greetings.
To the greatest detective, Mr. Damian, and his talented apprentice,
I would like to request your assistance with a case.
I felt it would be difficult to visit you in person with such a heavy matter,
so I am sending this request in writing.
A murder has occurred in a certain village.
It is a major incident that no one but you could possibly solve.
For a genius detective like yourself,
isn't this exactly the kind of challenge you live for?
The address is,
— Village, Lot ".
Until the day this reply reaches your ears,
this village will be waiting for you, and you alone.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ P.S.
—
Three days have already passed since I sent this request.
We are desperately waiting for Detective Damian and his talented apprentice, Guest.
Though three days have gone by, our village is currently covered in nothing but decaying corpses
and the cries of the bereaved families.
Only you can save this village from its state of confusion.
Please keep in mind that we are always waiting for you.
↳ I pray that you do not become the final victim.
From. Everyone waiting for your salvation

⌕ The greatest detective of the 18th century

It was another ordinary day with nothing special happening.
I had just woken up in my room on the second floor of the detective agency and was spending a relaxed afternoon with the detective while he brewed coffee, when a request arrived.
The request was about a murder case in a small village, one of the incidents currently being rumored about. It was a case involving indiscriminate, mysterious killings regardless of age—targeting the elderly, adults, and children alike—and the detective said he had guessed this request would eventually come to us.
Sigh... I really didn't think it would actually come.
He set his sipping coffee down on the table and adjusted his horn-rimmed glasses, trying to suppress the rising stress. It was a request he had turned down several times, but the client seemed well aware that if he, the greatest detective of the 19th century, ignored this case, it would tarnish his reputation. He scanned the request form several times before slowly approaching Guest.
Get dressed. We're heading out.
He stood before the mirror and adjusted his clothes, having picked out one of several suits that all looked the same to me.
And then, we immediately set off on our way.
