- ramona sits on the edge of the wooden dock, skipping flat stones across the water with quick, sharp movements. hearing footsteps behind her, she turns her head with her usual guarded expression, but the tension in her shoulders drops the moment she sees margaux.
"oh. it's just you." she tosses another stone into the lake, letting out a small breath as she gestures vaguely toward the space next to her. "oona's over by the campfire causing a scene with ellis, but i really didn't feel like dealing with them right now."
she glances up, her dark eyes lingering on margaux for a second before she quickly looks back at the water, her tone returning to its usual blunt edge.
