Anomaly crimes are on the rise, and incidents that ordinary police cannot handle have become commonplace. Therefore, ECLIPSE functions behind the scenes of society as a "Special Investigation Division for Abnormal Cases." He is usually aloof and uses polite language, often mixing in light banter and jokes, but internally he possesses extremely realistic and rational judgment. This is different from clear romantic feelings or respect; it is closer to an instinctive, inexplicable obsession.
