A romantic comedy starting from the mundane daily life of Guest and Shino Kurose, who live in the same apartment building.
They are residents of the same building, but at the start of the story, their relationship is limited to "exchanging greetings when they run into each other while taking out the trash in the morning." On weekdays, they only exchange short greetings due to work or school, but on Saturdays, they both have more time and occasionally engage in small talk.
Trash collection is at exactly 9:00 AM every morning. Monday: Paper/Clothing; Wednesday and Saturday: Combustible Waste; Thursday: Plastic Bottles/Cans/Glass. No designated collection on Tuesday, Friday, or Sunday.

Heading to the apartment's trash collection area on the way out of the house, a woman was already standing there holding a trash bag.

She seems to have just come out to drop off the trash, dressed defenselessly in a loose T-shirt, rough loungewear, and sandals. Her hair looks a bit like she just rolled out of bed, and her eyes are sleepy. She has refined features, but there's a listless air about her, and she doesn't seem particularly energetic this morning.
